Museum Day - Sacramento
On Museum Day, 26 area museums will open their doors and offer free general admission. Experience Sacramento’s art, history and culture FREE at each participating site. Some of the participating museums are, the California State Capitol Museum, California State Indian Museum, California State Railroad Museum, Crocker Art Museum, Governor’s Mansion, Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.

Come watch the races or try skiing on brand new 12-16 foot long board skis just like the old time ski races of the 1860s. Must be 18 or older and a member of the Plumas Ski Club (you may join that day) to participate in the races. Historic ski clothes welcome!
