The Gallery contains selected images from our project on the California Mother Lode and Northern Mines titled “The Land of Glittering Dreams.” All images were made with a 4x5 view camera on black and white film. Please note that these are low resolution digital reproductions which are only an approximation of the actual image. The fine detail and tonal range present in the negatives can only be displayed in prints.
